Your Community - Police Scotland Joint Partnership Activity

Dear Resident,

Alloa Community Policing Team had the pleasure of attending ‘The Big Bike event’ in Alloa on the 13th September 2025. The event was created in partnership with Alloa First and Clackmannanshire Council Transport department, to encourage the use of bicycles in the community.

Your community team PC Roebuck and PC Reiter were able to mark 45 bicycles, which is a crime prevention measure to deter thefts and help recover stolen bikes.

If you were unable to make this event but would like to have your bike marked, you can contact your local officers at Alloa Police Station where we could arrange this for you for free.

We would like to thank Alloa First and Clackmannanshire Council Transport department for creating the fantastic opportunity to connect with the community and offer bike security advice and marking.
